A New Friend (Chapter 1)

Snow…It’s such a wonderful sight, it may be cold at times but it’s still beautiful.
I think so at least mostly because of “him”, I met “him” in the snow last year and ever since then I’ve thought about “him.” My name is Hana Habara, I am a freshman in high school this year, and I am so nervous, mostly because I might meet “him” again. “His” name is Kyo Sashibaru, he was a sophomore when I first met him, and this year, he would be a junior. I was getting totally psyched about it so I left for school a bit early so I could get a feel for the school before I actually attended it. The school I was going to was sort of a boarding school but I find it more to be an academy considering it’s more fun that way. Anyways, that sounds better than boarding school.
“What a day this is going to be…I am just so excited!” I say smiling as I sit there on the train then I close my eyes sighing so remembering that cold day we met. I blush some before I open my eyes to look out the train window seeing the clear blue sky, a large lake, and many beautiful trees encircling the lake. From my view they seemed to be some kind of cherry blossom tree but I was pretty far away so I couldn’t tell so much.
“Are you going to Adacia Academy?” A voice says to me and I blink some looking over to see a girl wearing the same exact uniform I was. She had a suitcase with her just as I did but it seemed a bit bigger than mine.
“Uh…Yeah?” I say unsure of who this girl was but she soon smiles widely and she takes both my hands making me release my suitcase.
“It is such a pleasure to meet you, I am Seisa Manuharu.” She says shaking both my hands as I sit there staring at her wondering why she was saying hi so suddenly. I smile however, I enjoyed optimistic people it was rejuvenating.
“Nice to meet you Seisa-chan…I am Hana Habara.” I say as I sit there before I soon smile a warm smile and pull my hands away softly. “I’m kind of glad that I know another person now at the school. Most of my friends decided to just stay and attend the local high school that rests next to the middle school I attended.” I say before I grab my suitcase with one of my hands so it wouldn’t be in the way of someone who was coming aboard.
“I know, it is nice to make a friend at a school you’ve never been to before. It’s like an orientation of some kind.” Seisa says smiling warmly and happily.
“Yeah it is just like that.” I say before I look out the windows of the train seeing the town I was now going to live in, it looked amazing it was wrapped around a hill but as the buildings went up a set of trees lined the roads. “Wow…It’s amazing.” I say before I move over to other side of the train looking out the window better.
“Yeah it is, I can’t believe we’ll get to stay here.” Seisa says before she looks over to me smiling. “You seem really excited to go to this school…That’s a good attitude to have.” She says before she hugs me close squishing me.
“AHH!” I say closing my eyes as I was hugged but I smile hugging her back a little bit before I pull away looking to him. “So what?” I say mumbled a bit before I pull away some. “I’m just really happy…” I say my face softening with a smile.
“Someone seems to be stung by the bee of love.” Seisa says looking to at me like she was about to pry a big secret out of me. I look to her blinking some, tilting my head to the side.
“Bee of Love?” I say confused having never heard of that phrase before.
“Oh my god, you don’t know the legend of this town!?” She says surprised. “You are missing out.” She says smiling a wide grin before she looks out the window. “Look there’s the school, Adacia Academy.”
